Usually Steve Jobs' replies have been accurate in the past, so expect this to be true. Hopefully someone will make an OS 4.0 for iPhone 2G... If not, current iPhone 2G users should finally give up on the old device and get a new iPhone.

Not that bad I guess, the iPhone 2G is EXTREMELY old at this stage, only people like my parents would keep a phone that long lol. The oldest iPhone anyone should own right now is the 3G IMO, and again, even that's an old phone.
