This tut will show you how to resize a picture so you can use it as an avatar. Note that cropping and editing is sometimes required but it is not in this tut at this time.

• You want your avatar to be 100x100 or smaller.
  

You have a number of options, you can do it via online:

or you can use this program:

IrfanView 4.25

To resize a pic easily with this light picture editor, open the pic with
IrfanView:








Click image->Resize or just hit cntrl+R:








Then resize the picture to 100x100 pixels or less.







then save it (Cntrl-S or just S):







Now upload it to photobucket, tinypic, or your own personal website.







Post the link in the avatar section.







make sure the link looks like this:






Then you are all done!
